How the tax code decoding works

The tool reads the groups of the code: the year digits, the month letter, the day (with +40 for females) and the cadastral code of the place. It also handles codes with homocodes, in which some digits are replaced by letters.

What cannot be derived

The first six letters derive from consonants of surname and name: they do not allow tracing back to the full name. The century of birth is not written in the code, therefore the two possibilities are shown.
